Yemeni government handed over a letter of protest to UN Secretary General Ban Ki -moon on what it described as the practice of some representatives of the organization in Yemen , which has said it does not match the UN Charter and the international resolutions related to solving the crisis in the country .

The letter considered the meeting between the Coordinator of Humanitarian Affairs in Sana'a Jimmy Makjldirik with the Houthis and the ousted president Ali Abdullah Saleh, contrary to the mandate given to him by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Yemen.

The government also demanded Ban Ki-moon to take the necessary corrective action towards some practices of the United Nations representatives in Yemen .

The Yemeni government has called on international organizations to investigate the credibility and not to rely on local media reports about the ongoing situation in the country.

It said in a statement carried by the official news agency that " It followed a statement of the humanitarian coordinator in Yemen Jimmy Makjldirik issued on Friday , it was fair at the international official, who is showing his commitment to the Yemeni people to underline the fact that the violence was the result of a bloody coup , ongoing rebel attacks and serious and systematic violations against Yemeni people"
