Sanaa, Yemen: Houthis punished the people of Nihm by burning their homes‏

Gulf newspaper reported that the Houthi militias coup was quick to take revenge on the people of the city of Nihm east Sanaa, after the blows it received from the Popular Resistance fighters and the national army elements during the last period.

According to Al-Watan newspaper published on Wednesday and seen by Alyaman Alaraby , the media center said that the coup group resorted to punish the inhabitants for their support to the resistance and standing by its side.

He pointed out that three personnel carriers carrying large numbers of gunmen attacked the town, and broke into the homes of many citizens and assaulted the occupants . They also poured large amounts of oil in the homes of the symbols of resistance in the city and burnt them.

The national army elements chased the remnants of the coup plotters who tried to flee after breaking into the town , and clashed with them in violent confrontations that killed six people and wounding eight others, in addition to burning armored personnel carrier belonging to the Houthis.

Added, the putschists tried dawn yesterday to raid on the resistance forces in Ghayl mountains and launched a major offensive on them ,but the revolutionaries were able to repel the attack and forced the rebels to retreat.
