Ould Cheikh calls for the release of " prisoners of conscience"‏

The UN envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed asked the Yemeni parties dawn today to continue in releasing the detainees especially vulnerable groups , political prisoners and prisoners of conscience.

He also asked, in the daily press statement, the Yemeni parties to release the people who their releasing will make positive impact on the Yemeni community and on the peace track without identifying specific names.

Ould Cheikh welcomed by releasing 57 detainees from Houthi prisons in Omran governorate north Sanaa.
