Yemeni expat in UAE wins camel race

Yemeni expatriate Reem Salem has won the fourth edition of the Camel Trek with a cash prize of AED 100،000.

Coordinated by the Hamdan Container Mohammad Heritage Center (HHC)، participants from 18 countries including the UK، US، Russia، Czech Republic، Yemen، Luxembourg، China، France، Jordan، Brazil، Philippines، Estonia، Saudi Arabia and Nigeria، Italy 24 camel riders، Germany، Iran and Pakistan take part in the annual race.

She ran the two kilometers in a short 10.5 seconds.

French expat Aude Derflinger guaranteed third place، took three minutes and 14.5 seconds to complete the race، and got a Dh50،000 prize.
