Ould Cheikh reveals the fact of the suspension of delegations participating in the Kuwait talks‏

The UN envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Ckeikh Ahmed denied in a statement ,dawn Monday, the suspension of on of the delegations participating in the Kuwait peace talks .

He said on a statement on his facebook page that the Sunday sessions denied all the rumors about the suspension of one of the delegations to its participating in the sessions, and asserted on the insistence of the participants to reach to a peacful solution . The talks will continue during Ramadan and we hope that the holy month to be suitable for the renunciation of violence and the emphasis within Islam values ​​of solidarity and respect for human rights and seek to resolve differences through peaceful way.

He noted , the sessions which were held yesterday included number of meetings with the Ansar Allah and GPC delegation and the government delegation. The talk concentrated on what happend on Taiz as it was the most prominent topic especially with the government delegation as they insested on transfer the suffering of the population of the areas which witnessed an attack on a busy market and has killed dozens of civilians, including women and children.

According to the statement the UN envoy renewed the insistence of the United Nations organizations to open humanitarian corridors to relieve the suffering of civilians and providing them with the necessary basic materials.

Regarding to the prisoners and detainees committee Ould Cheikh said that they agreed on the unconditional release of children . He also touched on the details and the mechanics of the release of a number of detainees in the next few days.
