KSrelief inaugurates a food security project in Yemen‏‏

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center inaugurated a food security project in Yemen's Al-Mahrah governorate which will benefit 834 households, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

 

The project aims to distribute more than 30,000 food baskets in 15 Yemeni governorates over an entire year for the most underprivileged categories in targeted areas.

 

KSrelief also distributed more than 10 tons of food baskets to people affected by flooding and torrential rain in Gezira State, Sudan, helping 1,800 people.

 

It concluded its voluntary medical campaign for children’s open-heart surgery in Tanzania.

 

The center’s medical team examined 60 children and performed 34 successful open-heart surgeries.

 

KSrelief also held training courses to build the capacity of medical staff, benefiting 50 people.
