Arab coalition carries out 118 airstrikes to protect civilians in Al-Abdedia‏‏

Over 400 Houthi militia members were assassinated in four days of airstrikes done by the Saudi-led Arab coalition in Yemen's central Marib province,  local media reported. Spokesman Brig. Gen. Turki al-Maliki declared that a total of 118 airstrikes were done in 96 hours for the protection of civilians in Al-Abedia district, the Saudi state-run news agency SPA reported. Al-Maliki further declared that 15 military vehicles belonging to the militia were damaged. Al-Maliki also urged international and unofficial humanitarian organizations to accomplish their responsibilities towards civilians in the besieged district Al-Abedia. Air operations performed by the coalition blocked the Houthis' into the region for 18 days, the official added.
