Six civilians killed, wounded in Houthi attack on Hodeidah‏

One civilian was killed and 5 others were wounded, Sunday, in an attack by the Iranian-backed Houthi coup militia by a drone targeting a popular market in Hodeidah governorate, western Yemen.

 

Local and medical sources said that Houthi militia bombed with explosive missiles from a drone, a popular market in the Taif region in Al-Durayhimi district south of Hodeidah.

 

"The attack resulted in the death of a civilian and the wounding of 5 others . They were in Brought to Al Duraimi Hospital for first aid, and then in the Al-Khawkha Hospital, " the sources added.

 

According to the sources, those civilians were working in one of the restaurants in the area : Muhammad Thabet Ali, Muhammad Husayn Salih, Issam Sufyan Ahmed, Imad Muhammad al-Sayed, Ali al-Lahji Saeed and Abdullah Faysal Jaafar.

 

The Houthi militia escalated its attacks using several types of weapons in various areas of Hodeidah as part of their UN ceasefire violations, leaving civilians dead and wounded.
