Yemeni interior ministry stated that foreign experts helped the Houthi militants in launching ballistic missiles at Aden Airport in the past month.

"The preliminary results showed evidence that Iranian and Lebanese experts were behind the missiles which were used in the terrorist attack," stated the pro-administration Interior Minister Ibrahim Haydan in a press symposium held in Aden on Thursday, Jan. 14.

Haydan directed the investigation committee created by Yemeni President Abdu-Rabbu Mansour Hadi after the assault that aimed at the airport on Dec. 30.

He explained that his commission had gathered information from several sources and found that the ballistic missiles were fired from a location in the Houthi-governed area 135 km away from the airport.
