Saudi center provides Seon Int’l airport with medical assistance‏

The Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has recently handed over as much as 30 electro-medical beds and ten x-ray reading stands to the administration of the Yemeni international airport of Seon, a gesture to help the Yemenis fight the coronavirus pandemic, Saudi state agency, SPA, reported Tuesday according to Saudi Gazette.

 

Director general of the airport Ali Saeed Bakatheer said the consignment is part of a KSrelief plan to meet the medical needs of the airport to face extraordinary cases, thanking the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for this fraternal gesture, which comes within KSrelief to help the needy in Yemen.

 

KSrelief distributes 562 tons of foodstuff in Hijjah, Yemen

 

Riyadh-based KSrelief has distributed as much as 562 tons and 392 kg of foodstuff over the displaced and the inflicted in the Yemeni governorate of Hijjah, it was reported. According to the report, as many as 9,627 persons benefited from the assistance.

 

School students in Aden given health services

 

In Aden, school health teams, financed by Riyadh-based KSrelief continued for the third month in a row providing school health services and students malnutrition departments as well as the educational cadre in Aden with needed health services. During this December, several medical and health services were provided for more than 11,128 persons, the report said.

 

Medical Waste Management course in Aden inaugurated

 

KSrelief has inaugurated here a training course on medical waste management, organized by the World Health Organization in partnership with the medical services sector at the Yemeni Ministry of Health, it was reported.

 

The event, which took place on Monday, comes within the framework of the medical projects implemented by the Riyadh-based KSrelief to help improve the Yemeni health sector.
