Yemeni Army regains control of new district in Taiz‏

The Yemeni army regained control of Tal Al-Khadr in Yemen’s Taiz province, the national military website SeptemberNet reported on Monday.

The clashes between the army and the Iranian-backed Houthi militias in the area resulted in three deaths and 10 injuries from the Houthis.

Meanwhile, two civilians were killed and wounded from an explosive device planted by the Houthis in southern Hodeidah, state news agency SPA reported.

“An explosive device blasted in a medium sized truck which led to the death of its driver and wounding of the civilian sitting beside him,” a local Yemeni source said.
