Saudi Crown Prince, Putin Discussed the Yemeni situation‏

 Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud discussed at talks in Riyadh new developments in the situation in Syria and Yemen, Saudi official news agency SPA reported Monday.

The agency also said the leaders had discussed the importance of the fight against terrorism and its origins.

Al Houthis plunged Yemen in war in late 2014. An Arab military coalition led by Saudi Arabia started in 2015 fighting the extremists in Yemen upon a request from its government.
