KSRelief continues to provide aid to flood victims in Yemen‏

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) on Monday distributed, in cooperation with Ittilaf Al-Kheir charity, 57 tents, 114 blankets and 57 food baskets among 342 flood victims in Jufaina camp in Yemen’s Marib governorate, as a part of the center continued flood-relief operations in parts of Yemen.

KSRelief also distributed 42 tents, 210 blankets, 84 rugs and 42 food baskets, benefiting 252 people in Al-Abr District, Yemen.

In another relief mission, the center distributed 732 food baskets to 4,392 people affected by Hurricane Hikka in Tuban District, Luhaj governorate, Yemen.

This comes within the urgent humanitarian aid provided by KSRelief, Saudi Arabia’s relief arm, for those affected by the hurricane, which hit Yemen recently and caused devastating floods.

KSRelief also signed a joint cooperation agreement with the Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organization (ARCO) in Riyadh on Sunday, the Saudi Press Agency reported. The agreement was co-signed by KSRelief General Supervisor Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah and ARCO Secretary-General Dr. Saleh bin Hamad Al-Tuwaijri.

The two organizations agreed to cooperate in sharing knowledge, field experience, research, studies, innovation, capacity building, supporting volunteer programs, cooperation in humanitarian work, consultation, meetings, transparency and information sharing.
