KSrelief distributes 732 food baskets to Yemeni people in Luhaj

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed yesterday 732 food baskets to 4,392 people affected by Hikka Hurricane in Tuban Dstrict, Luhaj Governorate, Yemen, Saudi Press Agency reported. 

This comes within the urgent humanitarian aid provided by KSrelief, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's relief arm, for those affected by Hikka Hurricane, which hit Yemen recently and caused devastating floods, the agency added.

Conflict in Yemen erupted after Iran-aligned Al Houthi extremists overran parts of the country, including the capital Sana’a, in late 2014.

In March 2015, a Saudi-led Arab coalition intervened in Yemen in response to a request from the Hadi government .
