The Saudi Arabia-led coalition on Saturday launched two airstrikes at the al-Dailami military base in the Houthis-controlled capital Sanaa, media reports said according to Xinhua Net.

The Houthis-controlled news agency Saba confirmed in a report that two Saudi airstrikes hit the base. The report did not disclose if there were any casualties.

Meanwhile, five operations of exchanging prisoners between the two warring sides have been suspended "because of the intransigence of the aggression countries," the Houthis-controlled news agency reported Saturday, citing an official with the so-called National Committee for Prisoners' Affairs.

The exchanges, which include the release of 70 prisoners from both sides, were delayed by the other side two weeks ago as it is still waiting for approval from the Saudi government, the report said.

The UN has sponsored peace talks between the warring factions for several times, but the factions failed to reach a deal to end the civil war, which has already killed more than 10,000 people, half of them civilians, and injured over 35,000 others.
