Some field sources said that the National Army with the support of the Arab coalition managed to re-control the road linked between Marib and Sanaa which was a major supply line for militias. The sources said that the militias suffered heavy material losses, as well as the killing of a number of fighters, including the field supervisor in Sirwah Sultan al-Saqqaf with a number of his companions.
