The arrival of an Emirati ship carrying aid to the sons of Aden‏

According to local sources, an Emirati ship arrived Wednesday afternoon in the port of Aden, carrying tons of humanitarian aid to the Yemeni people in the liberated provinces.

This humanitarian assistance is part of the efforts of the UAE in the Yemen as the UAE Red Crescent Society continues to support Yemen through various sectors of the health, humanitarian and services sectors.

The Salami 4 arrived from the United Arab Emirates carrying 16,000 food baskets that will be distributed to families of martyrs and needy in all liberated governorates during the holy month of Ramadan.

This support comes under the guidance of the leadership of the UAE to help the Yemeni people and alleviate his suffer as a result of the high cost of living in the month of Ramadan and within the campaign of "Year of Giving" in the UAE.

"The flow of humanitarian aid will continue during the month of Ramadan to cover people's need for food," a source at the UAE Red Crescent said, adding "Another ship is expected to arrive this month carrying 40,000 food baskets."

It is worth mentioning that the priority of distributing this aid will be to the families of martyrs in Aden.
