Yemeni legitimacy agrees to a truce and these are the items of Ould Cheikh plan

Yemeni legitimat government told the UN envoy Ismail Ould Cheikh that they agreed to his proposals for ceasfire , which will begin with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan provided the commitment of the coupists.

Al-Bayan newspaper quoted some officials in the government as saying that the legitimacy had informed the international envoy of its acceptance of his proposals for ceasefire and the resumption of peace talks after the holy month of Ramadan, but the final approval is linked to the approval of the coup militia and the commitment to implement it and not to breach it.

The plan calls for a truce and cease-fire in the month of Ramadan and immediate confidence-building measures agreed upon in Geneva and new points , including prisoner exchanges, the release of all political , media and activists detainees, ending the siege on all cities including Taiz, opening Sanaa Airport , the cessation of military operations in Hodeidah, the UN supervision of port management, and the unhindered access of relief and assistance to all areas, including Taiz.

The terms of the plan also provide for the return of the work of the Military Commission for the truce and the supervision of the cease-fire, the continued neutrality of the Central Bank, the agreement on neutral administration and international supervision, and the payment of salaries to all employees without any obstacles.

The plan stipulates that in the event of the implementation of all the above points and without violations during the holy month of Ramadan, the political talks will be resumed after the holy month between the Yemeni parties, to complete what has been agreed in Kuwait.
