How did Al Hazm Storm thwart Iran's plans in Yemen? (report)‏

Iran has prepared a new plan that ensure its presence in Yemen amid the advance of the legitimate forces , after the launching of Al-Hazem Storm of the Arab coalition countries , led by Saudi Arabia .

Iran's Plan.

This Iranian plan requires the directing toward Hodeidah and the region of Tihama as an area that remains under the control of the Houthi group and not to leave or lose it in any way.

Regions 

The Iranian plan looked on the three regions Jund, Azal and Tihama that are still under the control of Houthis and preferred to focus on Tihama  and not to lose it in the same time it does not care about the loss of the rest. At the level of the Yemeni provinces which are still under the control of Houthi , it preferred to lose Taiz, Ibb, Saada, Dhamar and Sanaa and not to lose Hodeidah.

The Military Side .

Iran's plan on the military side has made Hodeidah the last stop of confrontations and a point of withdrawal. The clashes in Sana'a, Saada and Taiz are being dealt with in a non-serious manner so as not to drain the elements of the Houthi militant group. In the case of liberating Sanaa, the capital, and Saada , Houthis' stronghold, the centering would be in Hodeidah in which Houthi will face fierce confrontations and use all its resources to confront on the ground, in addition to the use of the international position, such as Russia and others by strong intervention not to liberate Hodeidah. This Iranian military plan in Yemen is different from the military plan of their partner in coup , Saleh , which requires the defense of Sanaa and not to lose it as being the capital and the use of all the assets of military forces to promote the battle to defend the city of Sanaa, On the other hand, making the liberation of the province of Hodeidah priority of the Arab coalition has confused Iran's military plan and to disrupt the stages of the battle management and its centers ranked on the ground.

Iran's plan includes the existence of the Iranian project inside Yemen in the region of Tihama, as this region has the factors of building a full state for its land, population, coasts, sea ports and fertile land suitable for agricultural production. In addition, the area of ​​the region of Tihama occupies a position that has the threat of South Yemen to close to it and also threat the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as being next to its borders in Jizan, through the province of Hajja, which follows the region. Here, Iran will be able to build its real strong project in Yemen through the region of Tihama, which its area will be suitable for manufacturing ​​weapons and receive Iranian support across the sea, and embrace the entire Houthi group and leaders which will leave their caves in Saada and make Hodeidah a major center.

Steps for Hodeidah 

Houthi group has taken special steps towards Hodeidah to serve the Iranian plan, and the most important of these steps is to use the policy of starvation in Hodeidah and prevented all aid until the famine appeared in At Tuhayat District and other area, and the use of starvation policy intended to achieve a state of subjugation and ensure the presence of a citizen in Hodeidah who does not think to resist Houthi group, as the hungry can not resist and think only in his stomach , while the Houthi group using Hodeidah as an alternative to Saada in the public side and the celebration of the group's special religious events, in addition to the use of semi-complete way to seize the mosques and preachers and the imposition of Imams belonging to the group and the high proportion of cultural and intellectual activity significantly more than any other Yemeni province,  while the Houthi also committing the most violent crimes, violations ,kidnappings and killings in Hodeidah.

Some observers told Alyaman Alaraby that the success of al-Hazm Storm thwart the Iranian plan in Yemen .

Yemen's ambassador to the United Nations, Khalid Al-Yamani, said that the militias, since taking power, have worked to implement Iran's expansionist agenda in Yemen and the region through attempts to control Yemen, attack on border areas in Saudi Arabia, destroying the national fabric , the revival of sectarian and frontal strife, and the planting of terrorism in all its forms.
