Arab Coalition announces arresting leaders from Yemen's Qaeda in Mukalla‏

The command of the Arab coalition to support the legitimacy in Yemen asserted that it arrested a number of elements and senior leaders of the terrorist al-Qaeda in the valley Aadm in the province of Hadramout of different nationalities.

The coalition leadership said in a statement that "the helicopters of the coalition carried out an air support operation of the anti-terrorism forces of the Yemeni army, which carried out Friday evening preemptive raids in the context of the pursuit of al-Qaeda in the city of Mukalla."

"The most prominent of those arrested from the elements and leaders of the al-Qaeda terrorist organization is "Ahmed Said Awad Barhamah", nicknamed Zarqawi, in Tawila in the city of Mukalla,"the statement added

The statement pointed out that the operation foiled the terrorist plans by confiscating various equipment and weapons that were prepared to carry out terrorist operations in a number of areas in Hadramout. The operation was the second of its kind following the arrest of the second man of al-Qaeda in Hadramout "Abu Ali al-Sayari".
