Political prisoners at Iran's Ardabil prison called on citizens not to participate in elections to prevent further injustice, persecution and prejudice against citizens.

The message said: "In our country Iran and unlike other societies in the world, the elections were confined to a special political and religious spectrum where power is traded among them at every stage. Other groups, parties, religious people and minorities are denied the opportunity to participate in this important national sphere because of the policy of system discrimination ".

"The citizens' concerns are never taken into account . We see an increase in the imposition of harassment and various shocks on them and are isolated in the margins."

"So in such politically confused atmosphere and ignoring the legitimate right of citizens there is no-meaning to participate in elections because the person who is supposed to be selected through the votes of citizens has been appointed before."
