After the case was revealed, Reformist MP Mahmoud Sadeghi filed a complaint against Larijani at the Special Religious Court.

Iranian judiciary is threatened by money and sexual issues.

In January, Iran's public prosecutor Mohammad Jafari Montazeri, speaking of corruption in the judiciary, said " There are two problems threaten the Iranian judiciary, "money and sexual issues."

The Iranian prosecutor added that some judges in the state indulged in corruption after two years, and asked them to take into account some restrictions in person, according to Radio Verda.

"If the pockets of the judges are open, this matter will pose a serious risk," Jafari said, referring to the bribery case.
