"Asiri" explains what he said about Egypt's participation in Yemen war‏

Major General Ahmad Asiri, the spokesperson of the Saudi-led military coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen, explained a statement he made recently about Egyptian participation in Yemen war .He noted that what he meant was that Egypt has offered to participate with the aforementioned number of conscripts in forming a common Arab military force, as a part of a suggestion discussed at the Arab League, not to take part in the Yemen war.
 

During an interview with Saudi news channel Al-Arabyia, Asiri said " As you know , there are some members from the Egyptian Armed Forces performs insurance functions for the south of the Red Sea and Bab Al Mandab, which have strategic importance to Egyptian, Arab and regional national security alike "
