A number of scholars of Republic of Yemen continued their condemnation and denunciation of heinous crimes being committed by Al-Houthi and Saleh's coup militias against mosques in Yemen, and the most recent one was targeting Koufel Mosque in Sarawah in the province of Marib, where a number of worshipers were killed in a terrible scene.

They stressed in statements, according to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) , on the occasion of the large popular campaign launched recently in various cities and governorates of Yemen that these crimes against mosques are committed only by criminals.

The scholars included Vice President of Yemen Scholars Council and Member of Communication Program with Yemen's Scholars Sheikh Ahmed bin Hassan Al-Moa'llem, Member of Yemen Scholars Council and Member of Communication Program withemen's Scholars Sheikh Abdullah Saatar, Member of Communication Program with Yemen's Scholars Sheikh Jamal Al-Saqqaf, and Sheikh Al-Khadher bin Salem Halis.

On the other hand, activists have recently organized a protest on the ruins of Koufel Mosque in Sarawah targeted by coup militias during Friday prayers on March 17, and resulted in killing 32 people and injuring dozens.

It is noteworthy that this protest comes in conjunction with the large popular campaign launched in various cities and provinces of #Yemen for condemning Al-Houthi and Saleh's coup militias for targeting mosques, as they have violated more than 750 mosques, according to a recent report issued by Communication Program with Yemen's Scholars.
