Yemen's Houthis attempts to assassinate a prominent official loyal to Saleh

Sources confirmed that high-level official loyal to ousted Saleh survive from an assassination attempt carried out by Houthi elements , on Wednesday, in Sana'a in a new development of the dispute between the coup parties .


"Mohammed Ali Swar, a prominent leader of Saleh Party and a member of the Standing Committee of the General People's Congress, survived on Wednesday afternoon, from an assassination attempt by the Houthis," a media source in Saleh party said.


Three of his bodyguards were killed and wounded in the attack, the source said.It was not yet clear whether Swar had been injured in the attack or not.
