"The liberation of Yemen is a new turning point in the Arab world, not just the Gulf states," said the Deputy Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister, Abdulmalik al-Makhlafi, referring to the Arab coalition as an Arab deterrent that helped prevent Iran from tightening its grip on Yemen

He also confirmed on Al-Hazem Storm second anniversary that it's a sincere Arab action to save the Yemeni people from sectarian militias and an Arab contribution to the Yemeni effort to restore the state and preserve Yemen's unity

"The people of Yemen will remain indebted to the brothers in the Arab coalition countries, led by Saudi Arabia, for their sacrifices and support in the face of the coup," Makhlafi said in tweets on his Twitter account.

"The Yemeni people are confident that their brothers in the Arab Gulf countries who have provided blood is a victory for them and in the forefront Saudi Arabia and the UAE will contribute generously to reconstruction," he said

On March 26, 2015, Saudi Arabia led an Arab alliance under the name of "The Storm of Hazm" in response to the request of President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi to enable him to regain his authority from the grip of the Iranian-backed coup , who seized power by force of arms and it moved on to the second phase which is ongoing under the name of " Restoring Hope
