Ould Cheikh: what is required for Yemenis exceeds the available resources
The UN Envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed asked the international community to provide urgent humanitarian support for Yemenis, stressing that the Yemeni situation should take high interest in everyone's agenda.
Ould Cheikh confirmed in a tweet on his Twitter page that" The humanitarian organizations developed plans to help the needy civilians , but the needs exceeded the available resources , and restricting the workers' movement limits the availability of aid."
Ould Cheikh stressed on the need for the commitment of the conflict parties with the international humanitarian law, to allow humanitarian aid to pass quickly and without any obstacles in the various regions of Yemen.
