Yemeni Security Forces launch raids campaign against al-Qaeda in Abyan

Local sources said that the Security Devices in Abyan province launched wide raids and detention campaign against al-Qaeda elements in Yemen after the terrorist operation that targeted a camp for the security belt last Friday which left 25 between dead and wounded in the ranks of soldiers and civilians

According to what the Emirati Newspaper Alittiahd quoted from Abdullatif Alsayd , one of the security belt commanders in  Abyan , that the security forces raided a number of houses in Zinjibar and arrested elements from al-Qaeda , adding that the security forces launched a security clampdown to track down the terrorist elements that trying to destabilize security and stability and re chaos to Abyan.

Alsayd confirmed that the security forces will not allow the fall of Zinjibar in the hands of al-Qaeda or any other armed groups, calling on the government and the countries of the Arab coalition to support the security forces and assist in carrying out their tasks 

" The terrorists attacks carried out by terrorist elements will not deter the security forces from continuing its role and functions in the fight against terrorism and extremism ," he added
