Medical error in hospital in Yemen's Sana'a killed 3

Informed sources in Sanaa said on Saturday that three children died and five others were in critical condition following a medical error in Leukemia Center in Kuwait Hospital in Sana'a last week.


A medical source at the hospital said the hospital administration recently appointed by the ousted and Houthi militia replaced the foreign nursing who traveled with others who were not selected according to the medical competence and did not make contracts for them what led to the accumulation and repetition of medical errors and loss responsibility.


The source confirmed that the eight children were injected with wrong drug in the spinal cord which claimed the lives of three in hours after they went into convulsions and five others are in critical condition in intensive care.


It should be noted that there was patient had previously killed with wrong medicine into a vein and another because of a narcotic substance was given after surgery.
