UN envoy, Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed ,said that "there will be no solution in Yemen outside the terms of reference of the UN resolution 2216, and the Gulf initiative and the outputs of the national dialogue
According to what quoted by Alaraby TV channel "Ould Cheikh said that there is a consensus in the Security Council on the path of a peaceful solution in Yemen, and he will tour in the region in order to set a timetable for the roadmap stations"
Ould Cheikh called Houthis and Saleh to provide clear ideas regarding the security side linked to hand over their weapons, saying that "the Yemeni people deserve concessions and sacrifices from everyone
He pointed out that all parties confirms their readiness for peace, but what we see on the ground is the continuation of the military solution, and the problem of Yemen's political elite is the lack of a desire to offer any concessions
About the workshop of ceasefire which he called for , Ould Cheikh said "The legitimate government confirmed its readiness to attend, but are waiting for a response from the delegation of Houthis and Congress regarding attend this workshop
