The Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi said that Ali Abdullah Saleh wanted to bequeath his son Ahmed after him in power , and he was afraid of the opposition of Reform Party and Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar.


President Hadi said, in an interview to Alquds Alarabi Newspaper , that ousted and the militias involved the country in six wars to drain Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar and the First Armored Brigade that he led to facilitate the succession order. He also added that the ousted took money from Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states on the pretext that he was fighting the rebels backed by Iran .
