Houthi militias recruited 10,000 child soldiers in Yemen
ِAn official in the government revealed that Houthi and former president Ali Abdullah Saleh militias recruited 10,000 child soldiers, while the military commanders fall in the hand of the legitimacy forces after its successive losses
Undersecretary of the Yemeni Human Rights Ministry Nabil Abdel Hafiz told Asharq Al-Awsat that the ministry had estimated the number of child soldiers recruited by rebel militias at about 10,000
“Those rebel forces deal with children by the concept of gangs and armed groups and the ministry also tracked rebel forces while planning harassments in the simplest areas of social life,this can't be performed by a mature person at all” Abdel Hafiz said
