Ould Cheikh: The current initiative of the settlement in Yemen is comprehensive .
UN envoy to Yemen, Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed said the initiative that put forward now is comprehensive and including the political and security sides, and he seeks to motivate the cease-fire file and the file of the political negotiations.
He added in an interview with Al Jazeera during the program of Alhasad on Thursday evening that the initiative currently on the table is a summary of what was called the road map ,the initiative of Kerry and the initiative of Ould Cheikh Ahmed.
He said he will present this initiative to the Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, and the leaders of the Popular Congress Party and the Houthis during his upcoming visit to the cities of Aden and Sana'a.
He explained that the initiative addresses the security and political issues, pointing out that all raised proposals and initiatives coming from the talks that held from the beginning of last April in Kuwait
Ould Cheikh Ahmed also said he will begin preparations to a serious and a real ceasefire by holding a preparatory meeting with the concerned parties , and stressed the need for the Pacification Commission and coordinate its responsibility in this aspect.
He pointed out that the second phase is to enter into a debate of the initiative consisting of political and security side .
