Sources close to the ousted president said that he has initiated contacts with tribal centers of power loyal to him in Sana'a after the escalation of dispute between him and the leadership of Houthi group
The sources said according to Al-Khaleej newspaper that Saleh warned a lot of elders from contacting with Houthi leaders
He also asked from Republican Guard forces to reduce the number of soldiers that participate in Nehm and Medi and send the forces to stationed in some tribal areas around the capital , according to the daily
Brigadier General Mohammad Jassar , dissident from Republican Guard forces ,said that most of Houthis ideological leaders were killed during the clashes with the national army and the Popular Resistance
He confirmed that most of the ideological leaders were killed during clashes in Aden , Taiz , Marib, Jowf, Abian, and Shabwa , and the militias lost that type of the extremists leaders which were represented as field leaders for the militias in all fronts
