UAE continues its support to the liberated areas in Yemen
The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has delivered food assistance to the people of Perim Island as part of its relief programme to support areas liberated from Houthi militia and forces loyal to defunct president Ali Saleh
Salem Al Aini, a notable from Perim Island thanked the ERC for rebuilding services utilities, which were destroyed by the Houthi-Saleh militias when they took control of the island
He added that ''The UAE has played a significant role in liberating the island and it is now rebuilding services utilities and providing relief materials to the islanders,'' according to UAE News Agency (WAM
