Missile attack target Al Anad Air Base in Lahij‏‏

Al Anad Air Base in Lahij Governorate, south the country, was subjected to a missile attack, believed to be with a drone, resulted in dozens of casualties, including martyrs and wounded.

Security sources confirmed, according to Al Ain, that three missiles fell in the middle of the military base, during a morning column of soldiers.

There is a possibility that the attack that targeted the base used drones, the sources added.

According to preliminary information, there were casualties including  martyrs and wounded as a result of the explosions, after eyewitnesses confirmed that they had spotted military crews leaving the base with a number of wounded.

Al-Anad Military Air Base is located adjacent to the Houthi militia’s control areas, in the Karsh area, north of Lahj Governorate.

The sources suggested that the attack was carried out by the Houthi, especially as the initial indications confirm this.
